In Gods Perfect Timing

It's been almost a year since I have left a post. I think I was more tired than I even knew. We had a very nice summer, going upstate to our trailer on the weekends. The trip up on Friday nights were not so nice, my husband was drunk and raving about the traffic and anything else he could think of. I would go right to sleep once we got to the trailer. But to wake up in the mountains....I recommend it to you all...it's so lovely to hear and see and smell. Sitting under the stars at night around a camp fire does a soul good. I got in alot of praying up there.

Something has happened to my husband....he stopped drinking during the week....really all week...he has a beer or two in company (o.k. maybe six on Super Bowl Sunday) "What about them Giants!!" My husband kept saying this is great...if only it were the Jets...happy for New York! We had a party ...serious Giants fans...my nephew came with the Giant red, white and blue logo painted on his face..lots of fun. Anyway, he does not drink at home anymore. Can't believe it still......now he has a cupboard full of vitamins and herbal teas. Uses every cup in the house....won't use a cup twice! He has been going to the dentist and getting his gum bone lose built up or something...he is very dedicated to this procedure..I just look at him...who is this guy? He came with me to our annual check up..ha!

I'm doing my best to enjoy this new chapter in my life fearlessly, for as long as it lasts. We have two wonderful grandkids...they are in Disney right now...my granddaughter who is two went to the Bippy Boppy Boo Beauty Salon and got made up like Cinderella....hope there are alot of pictures!! Really looking forward to Spring and the time change... a lot more day to enjoy.
