I don't go out on New Years' Eve. I like being home - so I invite my sister, neice and my daughter and her family to come over. My mom goes to her senior club New Years Eve Party at noon - she gets back at 5pm. My husband watched the Jets win and really, he just kept on watching football all day - was so happy with the win he actually took a nap - thank you Lord...Twilight Zone was having a marathon - I never tire of watching that show. Everyone got here around 6 and though we planned to order Italian , the place I like was closed - so it was Chinese for the night. We ordered way too much food - but we did our best...I found a bottle of Moet in the basement and thought ... it's now or never. We kissed 2006 goodbye and we welcomed in the New Year 2007!!! I have to tell you I will not miss 2006 - it was a hard year - hard on the heart..I have to remind myself that I am very blest - surrounded by the people I love and who love me. In July I will be welcoming a new grandchild .....priceless. I wish you all a wonderful New Year with the ones you love and who love you. We are having company on New Year Day - expecting around 18 people - the food is cooked - the table set - the Honeymooners are on - blest to be around friends I love and who love me - I wish this for you too.
